Low Warpage PBT GF20/GF30 FR | Dimensionally Stable Glass Reinforced PBT with Flame Retardant
This PBT low warpage glass fiber reinforced flame retardant compound is a specially formulated engineering thermoplastic designed to address the common challenge of warpage in glass-filled PBT. Through advanced compounding technology and optimized filler systems, this material significantly reduces anisotropic shrinkage while maintaining excellent flame retardancy (UL94 V0) and mechanical strength. It is ideal for precision parts requiring tight tolerances, flatness, and dimensional stability combined with flame safety requirements.
Key Properties
Low Warpage Design – Special mineral/glass hybrid system reduces anisotropic shrinkage
Flame Retardant – UL94 V0 rated at 0.8mm thickness
Glass Fiber Reinforced – Available in GF20 (20%) and GF30 (30%) grades
Excellent Dimensional Stability – Reduced warpage, improved flatness
Good Mechanical Strength – Tensile strength up to 120 MPa
High Heat Resistance – HDT up to 210°C (1.8 MPa)
Good Surface Finish – Improved appearance vs. standard GF PBT
Chemical Resistant – Resists oils, greases, and solvents
Injection Moldable – Good flow for complex parts
